As Director of Operations, N.Y. my primary task is to coordinate the needs of the customer with our overseas production managers. This coordination involves converting a customer's requests into meaningful instructions for our production managers, shipper, and finance department. This results in a smooth experience for our customers with product reaching their facility to their specifications. Even though we're a large manufacturer, our N.Y. office is small so I serve several duties. Beyond being a liaison for customers and staff, I perform most data-entry functions, record keeping, and electronic filing.
