As an Apprentice Carpenter I worked along side a team of other Apprentices and Journeymen Carpenters to complete projects. Worked mostly in healthcare environments requiring strict regulations on air quality and filtration, cleanliness, and professionalism. Mostly worked in pairs but occasionally worked individually or as part of a larger team. This was a totally new field that I quickly learned and excelled at. Had the opportunity to constantly learn new things and be mentored by Journeymen with 20 - 30 years of experience.

Held various production floor focused roles. As a Senior Plasma Center Technician I performed donor venipunctures and monitored donors during donations to ensure they had a great experience. I also worked in the lab where I collected samples from donor units of plasma, maintained orderly storage of collected plasma units, managed incoming and outgoing shipments of supplies and plasma.As an Advanced Senior Plasma Center Technician I was trained to work in every area of the center. In addition to previous responsibilities I also performed pre-donation screenings of donors to ensure they met the requirements to donate that day. As a Lead Technician I was responsible for overseeing the production floor. I ensured smooth operations by developing the 'floor plan' for the day, a plan for employee placement to ensure the quickest and most pleasant experience for donors. I was responsible for balancing donor flow with employee breaks, employee training, receiving and shipment of supplies and plasma, and being the main interface between employee issues and concerns and the management team.
