With over 31 years of experience in law enforcement, I am a seasoned and dedicated sergeant at the New York State Police. My core competencies include evidence collection, firearms handling, and public safety. My mission is to protect and serve the people of New York with integrity, professionalism, and respect. I am passionate about leading and mentoring my team, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the NYSP, as I have served in various roles and locations, such as the NYS Capital Detail, the Village of Athens Police Department, and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Department of Public Safety.Currently, I supervise the communications and transportation management center for a 10-county troop. I oversee both uniform and civilian employees, and monitor day-to-day operations and emergency incidents as they arise. I coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair of operations equipment, radio towers, and physical security of sensitive areas. I also monitor numerous CCTV traffic cameras to observe and evaluate traffic conditions and incidents, and ensure proper delivery of police, EMS, and fire services. I leverage my skills in evidence, firearms, and public safety to ensure the safety and efficiency of the NYSP operations and personnel.
