John is a 1990 graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Law. John has been fighting for the rights of his clients for nearly a quarter century in a broad range of cases involving everything from personal injuries to commercial and construction litigation. He has served for several years on Teays Valley Christian School Board and as Chairman of the Board of Deacons at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Teays Valley. He is a trustee for the Contractors Association of West Virginia Scholarship Foundation and is active in many other professional associations. John lives with his wife Leah and their five children, ranging from college age to preschool, in Putnam County, West Virginia where they are actively engaged in their church and community. John remains an avid follower of UK basketball, although these days he is more likely to be found at a t-ball game or cheerleading competition. When he is not working John loves spending time with his wife, going out to eat, watching movies, or working on home improvement projects together, playing with his kids, reading and spending time in his woodshop.
