- Looked after the manufacturing engineering function across 6 different sites (Norway, UK, Poland, India and China) within Electrical, Automation and Controls (EA&C) business sector- Supported and supervised the locally employed manufacturing engineers- Implemented measures to improve quality standards across all sites- Relocated a test facility from Norway to Poland- Expat in Gdansk for about 7 months

- Four 5-6 months long placements, each within a new business sector- 2 international placements: Vietnam and Sweden- Conducted a DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) project on a component that had quality issues, and ensure this was closed out- Supported a new product introduction project – linking engineering with production to ensure the designed product could be manufactured- Implemented lean manufacturing thinking, and Rolls-Royce “process excellence” standards to 1 site- Commissioned a new manufacturing cell (robotic grinding)
