Researched quantum communication schemes and performed assumption analyses different protocols as part of the Quantum Information Science group.

Worked as a research intern with mentor, Dr. Eugene Dumitrescu, for ten weeks performing quantum computing research and programming on IBM's 20-qubit quantum computer Poughkeepsie. Wrote programs in Python using QISkit, IBM's Quantum Information Science toolkit, to perform Rabi oscillations and analyze qubit decoherence under different driving amplitudes. Worked to develop this decoherence analysis into a benchmark measuring a qubit's reception to quantum error mitigation by Richardson extrapolation. I co-authored a publication in Physical Review A as first author on this qubit benchmarking protocol.
