This was a temporary position. I operated a VNA (very narrow aisle) truck in the John Lewis MP1 warehouse in Milton Keynes. The training was in house so unfortunately I dont have a certificate. I operate closely with the reach truck drivers making sure everything goes out and in the VNAs quickly and efficiently. As a reach driver the job was to feed and take pallets from the VNA aisles.

As a yard marshal, my duty was to look after the trucks moving around the yard and making sure they go to the right bays, drop there trailers on the right parking spaces and making sure yard safety is enforced. In the gate house my duty was to check the trucks in making surethey're always going to the right place whether it's inbound, outbound or if there dropping an empty trailer in the yard. At my time at amazon I also completed fire marshal training.
