John and his team regularly publish and present papers, articles, presentations and webinars on new technology and innovations. John directed the Technical Marketing and Professional Services group for OFS’s optical fiber, cable, and connectivity, business. His team developed new business through consultative selling and leading the direction of R&D to create customer valued products and solutions, and provided post-sales technical support. Accomplishments included the successful launch of the EZ-Bend (r) Technology product line to Verizon and the market in volume, creating value propositions and selling tools for OFSs fiber, cable, and connectivity product lines, and in 2012 launching the professional services business focused on designing and building turn-key FTTH networks. In total these accomplishments led to $10Ms in new profitable revenue for OFS.

Created compelling value propositions and PowerPoints and presentated in BISCI industry forum, to distributor teams, and to sales teams, to audiences ranging from small groups up to 1500. Worked in collaboration with PLM team to advocate industry standardization of the LC fiber optic connector by the TIA (Telecommunications Industry Association) standards body, leading to significant licensing revenues for Lucent and now OFS.
