Founder, CEO & Doctor of Physical Therapy, John Gerega, graduated from Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2010 with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. John accepted a job offer and one week after graduation moved to Georgia where he continued to pursue his passion for helping people with Physical Therapy. Throughout the last 9 years, John has specialized in outpatientrehabilitation for non-operative and surgical patients. John also oversaw multiple outpatient clinics in Georgia where, while he was still treating, he helped mentor and develop other physical therapists. John's love for athletics and helping others drives him and motivates him daily. John and his wife, Stephanie, currently reside in Georgia where they enjoy traveling, golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends. They decided to open “Compass Physical Therapy” in 2019 in an effort to “point” the healthcare industry back in the direction of helping and caring for people. Johns heart is, and always will be, one for lifting spirits and providing people with a valuable and personalized healthcare experience and hopefully “pointing them in the right direction” along the way.
