Exercise Branch Chief /Observer Controller/Trainer(OC/T) for Alpha Branch, 3rd Training Brigade, 75th Training Division. Responsible for 31 senior Soldiers who provide mission command seminars, MDMP, command post exercises, culminating training events, mission rehearsal exercises and other collective evaluation training events for units training in support of the ARFORGEN cycle. Training audiences include unified land operations, coalition, joint, combat arms, combat support, and combat service support organizations.

Responsible for inventory management, delivery, sales, and service of uniform and allied products to commercial accounts in 5 county region of central Kansas.

As the Brigade Operations Officer, provided planning and training guidance for five Basic Combat Training Battalions arrayed across eight states, with more than 650 assigned personnel. Ensured coordination and procurement of training resources, conduct of training requirements, and evaluation of all units within the Brigade. Provided guidance and made recommendations to the Brigade Commander on operational issues within the Brigade. Coordinate with CONUS and OCONUS commands as it pertained to the Battalion missions to ensure that mobilizations, exercises, and other events were properly planned, resourced, and executed. Ensured that all Battalion tasking's were effectively managed and responses were forwarded within established due dates. Areas of responsibility included physical security, training management, mobilization readiness, annual training requirements, unit status reporting, Brigade safety and risk management, force protection, accident prevention programs, and military education. Selected for promotion to Colonel.

Operated propane Bobtail truck with Commercial Drivers License to include Hazardous Material Endorsements. Responsible for delivery, sales, and service of propane and propane products to over 400 residential and commercial customers in primarily rural five county region. Selling over 500,000 gallons of propane annually.

As Task Force Commander mobilized and deployed a 38 Soldier Team of Police Professionals to train, assist, and advise the Afghan National Police. Served as the Deputy of Police Force Management Division, managed the staff of PFMD in order to develop, prioritize, synchronize, coordinate, and execute force generation plans to develop Afghan National Police (ANP) capabilities and Force Management capability within the Ministry of Interior (MoI). Performed tasks assigned by The Director of PFMD and performed his duties in his absence. Provided recommendations/courses of action and kept the Director and Command appraised of ANP fielding status, issues, and concerns. Provided OI, organizational integration, for the ALP, Afghan Local Police pillar to include coordinating the fielding of Shoot, Move, and Communicate assets to the ALP. Synchronized and worked with other US, NATO, Coalition, Contractors, and Afghan counterparts to efficiently and effectively field equipment to the authorized Tashkil (personnel and equipment organization). Tracked the fielding and supply inventories of equipment. Coordinated and managed the staff to achieve the goal of 100% fielding of authorized Tashkil allocations to appropriate units of MoI. Improved the capability of MoI to become self sustaining. Hand selected to conduct a top to bottom review of The National Police Coordination Center. Escorted Afghan National Security Forces to Hohenfels, Germany to train, advise, and assist NATO forces conducting joint exercises at the Joint Multi-national Readiness Center.

Battalion commander responsible for 130 personnel with Companies in 3 States to include Soldiers mobilized at Ft. Knox KY and around the world in support of the Global War on Terror. Led, trained, supervised, managed, and evaluated unit as well as staff to include two full time personnel in all areas of unit operations. Staff had functional areas in logistics, administration, and training. The Unit performed the specific mission of providing Drill Instructors and cadre for the conduct of basic combat training to the major Army Training Centers. Capable of training up to 1,200 Initial Entry Soldiers at one time. Selected as Task Force Commander for NATO Training Mission Afghanistan.

Battalion Executive Officer for a Drill Sergeant training battalion consisting of 5 companies and 150 Soldiers. Primarily responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the battalion staff; coordinated all logistic and administrative functions; implemented higher headquarters policies and procedures; trained officers through Officer Professional Development, officer education programs, and mentorship; other duties included but were not limited to Strength Management, Family Support Program, Battalion Command Inspection Program, Organizational Inspection Program, Staff Assistance Visits for batteries, ensuring all battalion suspense items were met, and organized/conducted all staff meetings; monitored unit Weight Control Program, evaluation submissions, awards, EO, and Safety. Acted as Battalion Commander in his absence.

Performed duty as the Anti-Terrorism / Force Protection Officer for Multi-National Security Transition Command Iraq and was the principal advisor to the Commander, three star general, on force protection matters. Managed Joint Anti-Terrorism / Force Protection program that was responsible for force protection of 2,800 MNSTC-I personnel at 65 sites throughout Iraq. As the Officer in Charge of a four person cell, deployed throughout Iraq conducting AT/FP assessments of MNSTC-I, NATO and Iraqi Forward Operating Bases. Advised senior Coalition, NATO, International Zone, and Iraqi leaders on AT/FP matters. Principal advisor to the Commander, making recommendations on mitigation and allocation of limited resources for force protection. Planned, developed, and executed the Anti-terrorism Plan. Supervised the Commands Operations Security (OPSEC) program. Over 5 years experience as an anti-terrorism/force protection officer at Division and Corps level in Iraq Theater of Operations and CONUS. Served as The Basic Combat Training Branch Chief for an Institutional Training Division spread over a nine state area. Advised the Plans and Operations Officer on all issues affecting plans and operations of BCT units to include training and readiness; advised on resource needs and recommended the distribution of funds; planned and conducted training evaluations and operational/training Staff Assistance Visits. Conducted the command’s Organizational Inspection Program and Training Assessment Visits. As an action officer monitored taskings and compliance with suspense dates. Performed other duties as directed by the Director of Operations. Additionally, served as the Division Safety Officer(Occupational Health and Safety Manager), Physical security, and Anti-terrorism/Force Protection Officer, and Ammunition Manager. Managed and directed these programs as the Commander’s principal advisor. During the absence of the Division Chaplain, also served as the acting Division Chaplain for three years and for two different Commanding Generals. ASIST trained intstructor in Suicide Prevention. Managed Suicide Prevention Training for the Division.

Senior Pastor responsible for leading church in planning, organizing, administering, and developing religious programs. Minister to community and church. Planned and prepared teaching materials and sermons for three weekly programs, as well as special events. Began a bus ministry and started youth program growing to over 40 youth in small rural community. Conducted Vacation Bible School with over 60 children in attendance in community with less than 100 enrolled school studentsl. Led church to plan for and build new church. Performed wedding and funeral services. Conducted weekly jail visitation and ministry in two county jails. Assisted prison parolees in transitioning to after prison life by providing counseling, job assistance, transportation, and interim housing. Chautauqua County Jail in Kansas during ministry had one of the lowest recidivism rates according the County Sheriff. Supervised, operated, and served as Board President of local Teen Center.
