I was exposed to the entire motion capture and content production process, including prop design, prototyping and fabrication as well as data collection and media production. Specifically, I worked on a facial tracking head rig, built arm extensions, designed and built a modular lizard-tail character rig, created handheld prop mouldings and castings, and a custom elevation rig for swim emulation. I used Maya for post-production work and Blender for 3D character design. As part of the motion capture production process, I also did some acting, equipment calibration, data capture and clean-up which was used to build training libraries for kinesiology research.
