I have performed complete upgrade migrations of the existing GWRC geospatial enterprise system to new hardware platforms. This included conversion of all custom web-mapping components from Flex to HTML5/JavaScript, creation of new SQL-Server based geodatabases for LIDAR data etc. I provide advice and support to business teams on how geospatial can assist their work. I performed integration of regional-scale LIDAR (Laser airborne) survey data into GW's systems, including provision of large-scale topographic mapping (first regional-scale product in NZ). In 2017 I created real-time webmaps for river levels and bathing water quality.I have managed a significant expansion of GWRC’s product range to serve the public including Open Data Portal and Map Gallery. Responsible for initial setup of hosted ArcGIS Server system (as a PaaS). I maintained spatial aspects of the NZ CAS (Crash Analysis System). Integration of roading data including GIS centrelines, road speed data, traffic flow, crash data & centreline geometry for the Safer Speeds project for NZTA & MoT. I developed an original algorithm for radius-of-curvature for roading which was later used internationally and contributed to some award-winning transport analyses.

I upgraded VectorNet GIS through various ESRI server-side systems including IMS to various ArcGIS Server versions, including T-SQL, Python & C# webservice components. I developed a new webmap application for the AHB Contact Centre & general use based on Google Maps & an ESRI extension, with ExtJS libraries. This was based off the open-source "ExtMap" application but involved many custom extensions to meet business needs. -
