Day to day operational responsibility for a 10 million p.a parcel delivery network across the UK.Working closely with the current number One name in home delivery offering high quality customer service driven high volume deliveries.Line Manager to 20 depot managers and supervisors.

Worked as part of a team delivering Fleet and Plant solutions to our operational contracts. A turnkey solution was offered from initial contract service review and requirements, through to final asset delivery.

This was an operational Transport Management role. Operators licence holder for the West Midlands Traffic area. With responsibility for around 40 HGVs split between 3 operational depots. This also included around 100 light commercial vehicles involved in Utilities work and associated plant and equipment a well as 60 company cars.

I was responsible for 2 sites split between operational functions, stores and materials and office/support staff. I was direct line manager for the Stores Manager, Yard Supervisor and a Plant Hire Administrator.

This was very much a customer service role heading up the team that delivered both short term and long term hires to the business. Delivering service KPIs, maintaining supplier agreements, director level MI reporting. Direct line manager for the Hire Desk Supervisor, 1x Transport Compliance Administrator, 1x Damage Negotiator and 3 Hire Desk Administrators.
