Working in Aviva Studios, a multi-purpose, flexible venue that includes a 5,000 standing capacity warehouse, 1,600 seat auditorium and various other spaces that hosts art and artists from across the world. This role includes:- Recruitment and line management of the venue technical team which incorporates sound, lighting & video, stage and gallery installations, rigging and coordinators- Collaborating with colleagues and suppliers on the procurement, delivery and installation of in-house technical equipment- Budget management - Production management of various events and installations- Working with technical Heads of Departments to coordinate event load-ins, show running and get-outs- Working with in-house and external producers, production managers and event managers to plan and realise the technical elements and logistics of productions- Planning and overseeing format changes of the various venues- Liaising with local, national and international suppliers to source technical equipment and services as required- Planning scheduled maintenance and inspection periods for venue equipment- Identify training and development opportunities for core staff

2,355 seat concert hall hosting orchestral events, concerts, commercial events, conferences and live broadcasts. This role included:- Line management and supervision of the venue technical staff- Advancing shows and events with incoming production crews- Liaising with in-house event managers to ensure events had appropriate staffing and technical equipment- Sourcing and booking staff and equipment with suppliers as required- Managing load-ins, show running and get-outs- Identifying potential equipment upgrades for future purchasing- Planning and managing scheduled equipment maintenance and inspections- Budget management- Key holder for the building and part of the venue emergency response team
