Having worked in this family owned business at various points since 1985, I took over in 1996 and have led it to a consistent period of success and growth, opening a new salon in 2013. I continue to provide high quality motivational speaking services to businesses of varying size and across a diverse range of sectors. As well as my longstanding partnership with the Amway Corporation, notable recent projects include:A figurehead position of Head of Business Alliance at Scottish Premiership club St. Johnstone FC, working closely with their Head of Business Administration to create and implement a new business strategy through which 50 local businesses promoted themselves through the club. Delivered talks to representatives of each business to secure their participation in the strategy as well as a keynote speech to the Business Alliance leaders.Delivered motivational performance talks to an audience of 2,000 people from different business on behalf of Scottish Business Enterprise at the Perth Concert Hall.

I have presented and appeared on multiple television programmes on a freelance basis, most notably:• Appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain during the 2014 Scottish Referendum• Hosted the 2005 Salon International exhibition• The BBC fashion TV show The Clothes Show in 2000• Hosted various QVC shows to promote Aveda hair care products from 2005 to 2007• Guest stylist on the BBC’s Style Challenge • Co-presented the BBC show The Insider

I began working with Schwarzkopf to promote the globally sold hair styling products while positively impacting the company’s internal approach to customer engagement and staff development: • Worked with the global marketing / sales teams to implement unique marketing / sales concepts• Focused on improving the company’s market presence and sales generation• Produced educational videos for stylists and consumers on the best use of various hair products• Scripted promotional customer engagement material for use by the sales teamKey Achievements:✓ Created a new business culture based on four pillars - Listen, Look, Live and Learn✓ Improved the delivery of high care standards throughout the company’s global operations✓ Adapted this model for use by the sales team to focus on care throughout the sales process

I travelled extensively across more than 50 different countries to deliver educational programmes and platforms to Amway associated distributors, including the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Russia, etc. (working with interpreters as an when necessary).Key Achievements:✓ Played a leading role in Amway’s increased turnover within the beauty market✓ Delivered four training shows in Shanghai, with an audience of 3,000 people per show

Fulfilling a role similar to that with Schwarzkopf and Amway, I delivered high quality training programmes to staff and brand development talks to existing and potential customers: • Devised education programmes and marketing material for hair products and technical cutting• Ensured L’Oréal’s customers had a full understanding of products' features and correct use• Taught stylists at locations across the world - including Australia, Asia and the Middle East• Focused on how stylists present themselves in the most positive way possible• Encouraged a working approach in which stylists effectively promoted the L’Oréal brand
