TAC (Turn Around Crew) Planning and Support Manager is responsible for the development and safe implementation of operational enhancements and subsequent overview. This also includes any future requirements within the YYC airport community related to ground operations. The TAC Planning and Support Manager’s responsibilities also include the leadership of the Daily Shift Manager group and the WestJet YYC airport stores department (Tools Admin).

Responsible for the development and communication of procedures in the WestJet Ground Operations Manual and SME for any projects that impacted ground ops. Within the role of Standards and Procedures, I was also responsible for assisting with the start up of new stations and planning special projects such as the Canada Games.

The International Leader program was designed to ensure our international handlers were fully trained with WestJet specific programs. I was responsible for the delivery of a specialized ground operations training package for each destination I traveled to, which included training in an ESL environment. I was also responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Customer Service training package on each trip, often including work with translators.
