Starting another year teaching EAP at Univesity of Southampton . I have been told that numbers are healthy this year, so this will present several challenges for me, but I know that I can overcome this in a proactive fashion. I am a professional English language teacher with many years’ experience. I totally believe in professional development whilst this is motivating it in addition gives me much satisfaction to fulfill this aspect of my profession. While located in Hong Kong I have self-taught Phonics and now believe that I am capable of offering these services to students. In addition, I have created and develiverd my own EAP materials, which involed using a VLE (Blackboard). At present I am developing my SEN teacher qualifications to enable me to offer these services to students. Started to teach ielts once again for Wallstreet English, exciting new role.
