Previously managing editor of SCOREGolf Magazine and subsequently founding editor of Golf Canada magazine while employed by the Royal Canadian Golf Association (now Golf Canada) as director of communications and member services as well as executive director of the Canadian Golf Foundation; golf correspondent for The Sporting News; golf columnist for the National Post and Toronto Sun; on-air and online golf analyst for Sportsnet, a Canadian all-sports TV network, and associate editor of Sportsnet Magazine; Canadian editor for TravelGolf.com; golf course architecture columnist for golf.com; presenter at the National Golf Foundation's Golf Summit; chairman of and multi-time presenter at the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada national conference; chief judge in the sportswriting category of the National Newspaper Awards. As a member of the founding Board of Directors, created communications curriculum for Georgian College's Professional Golf Management Program and taught for two years. Co-founder of Mikey's Tournament for Autism which raised more than $500,000 for local autism support. From 2008 to 2014, as director of communications for ClubLink, one of the world's largest multi-course owner/operators, built in-house communications department, re-launched member magazine and directed build-out of more than 50 web sites. Honoured to be included in the 2016 class of inductees into the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame. Recipient of the 2017 Dick Grimm Award from the Golf Journalists Association of Canada for lifetime contributions to the game of golf. Honourary lifetime member of the Golf Journalists Association of Canada.
