Lead the System Support division for Office of Satellite & Product Operations (OSPO) 24x7 ground system operations enabling National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) capability to meet NOAA's mission goals and oversee the product processing systems used to distribute mission critical environmental data to support NOAA mission goals. Provide continuous engineering and support for the nation’s operational environmental satellites, ground systems, and associated infrastructure to receive, process, and distribute environmental data and products around the world.

Managed, planed and executed information technology efforts to modernize and optimize the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) automated systems to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of the adjudication of Veterans’ appeals, while enabling the VA workforce to perform their jobs more effectively by reducing reliance on outdated legacy applications and systems. Provided technical leadership, direction and oversight to the multi-year, multi-million dollar NOAA Jason Ground System Technical Refresh project by coordinating the design, development, testing and integration, deployment and formal acceptance of the ground system among NOAA stakeholders and international partners. Led major milestone and baseline project review boards; maintained accurate configuration and risk management processes; directed schedule, requirements, budget, procurement and contract management activities while leading a team of engineers and support staff. Led a cloud-based (AWS) project designed to validate that a commercial cloud implementation provides the agility to rapidly modify computing resources to meet changes in business requirements; scales to increase functionality in a dynamic manner by supporting new operational features without having to recreate the framework; allows capacity to increase the necessary cloud computing resources to meet various performance requirements, and supports an agile development methodology that provides a flexible development environment while quickly integrating new data sources and operational capabilities.
