The 2007 Freestanding Range new product introduction, launched at Mabe - Leiser in San Luis Potosi Mexico.

Together with Luis Miguel Ruiz, I lead a cross functional team of engineers in training in Louisville, Satyam / India entry level mechanical engineers and CAD associates, and 18 Mabe Leiser design and manufacturing engineers to offset annual product inflation of over $6,000,000 by leading the implementation of approximately 95 product design changes and supplier qualifications.

Lead the Mabe-Celaya EE PCTO engineering team to drive down service call rates and implement cost & quality improvements, in the form of new electronic control and electromechanical component designs.

Lead a remote staff of 4 engineers on-site from Roper Corporation, various engineering coops and technical leadership program (Edison Engineering program) members, in both Louisville KY & Lafayette GA to implement electronics and and component design changes, through comparitive reliability test development and implementation

Team Leader, Product Cost Take Out, Refrigeration Controls and Gas Range Systems. Design Manager, Gas Range.

Led 4 off-site electronics and electrical engineers to deliver over $7 million USD in annual cost out yields, including quality improvement projects.

Held 6 month rotational positions, 4 in total, within GE Appliances. Two of the positions were in Cooking products, supporting the launch of the Roper Spectra Freestanding Range program through qualificaiton of alternate electromechanical components suppliers. One of the positions was supporting Bloomington IN refrigeration plant with the same types of roles, and another was in the Manufacturing Purchased Material Quality group, developing and implementing the field part return electronic routing process, from service technicians to design & quality engineers.
