With many years of experience in both the engineering design and electrical construction industries, John is an invaluable in-house resource to all electrical staff for both design concepts and constructability issues. His passion is lighting and the illumination of public spaces and roadways, but his expertise also includes power generation and distribution, fire alarm, industrial motor control, and telecommunications infrastructure. John’s areas of experience include secure facilities, high technology office and laboratory facilities, hydraulic power generating stations, ethanol production facilities, office buildings, sports and recreation facilities, and roadway infrastructure.A graduate of Carleton University (B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering), John is also a Designated Consulting Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario; JLR’s Chief Operating Officer for the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta; and a member of both the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.About J.L.
