Career Background:John’s career spans over 25 years with roles in the Investment Banking, Private Banking and Financial Services sector. He has held senior roles with UBS as a trader on the Sydney Futures Floor and with UBS Private Bank.John also established Westpac Private Bank's first regional office which was based in Newcastle and built a tailored offering of services to a select group of family offices and HNW's.John has extensive experience in raising capital across a number of asset classes including Venture Capital and Private Equity. Summary of Experience:Venture Capital and Private Equity:The capital raisings were undertaken at various stages of the business life cycle including Seed Capital, Start-up, Series A + B, Mezzanine Debt Financing, Pre-IPO, IPO and Post Listing Capital. John’s roles have varied from Senior Client Advisor to more recently Lead Manager and/or Arranger of the facilities.John has also been actively involved in raising capital for Ag Tech companies from Seed through to Series B. He has been invited to be guest judge on several occasions at UNE's AgTech investor presentations.As climate change continues to dominate global conversations, John has started to focus more on investor opportunities in Agriculture and Natural Capital.
