As Project Engineer for Harkand my role consisted of onshore engineering and planning of offshore projects including:• Engineering method statements for tenders. • Scheduling onshore activities and offshore work scopes. • Procedure writing and planning for vessel mobilisations/ demobilisations conforming to DNV. • Procedure writing onshore for subsea activities performed by SAT divers and ROV’s conforming to IMCA guidelines and Harkand diving manuals. • Design onshore.• Advising on suitable equipment and rigging for procurement.• Equipment preparations offshore.• Creating dive plans and working alongside the Dive Supervisor guiding SAT divers to perform various subsea activities offshore.• Client report writing offshore.• Generating As-Built reports for client’s detailing completed offshore works.I have worked offshore on CSV Go Electra and DSV’s Harkand Atlantis and Harkand Da Vinci implementing IRM, construction and decommissioning works. Before the company went into administration in May 2016 I had been working on the Maersk Janice Decommissioning Project since the tender stage in November 2015.

• Design, testing and reporting on new developments (such as COBRA).• Testing various types of breathing apparatus (working with chamber vessels testing equipment simulating water depth pressure).• Calibration of test equipment.• Designing 3D models using Solidworks and LabVIEW programming (setting up programs to record data such as various pressures and CO2 measurements etc.). • I was the technical lead in the magnetic range at JFD, where I maintained the software and designed different fixtures for measuring product magnetic signature.• As technical lead in the magnetic range it is also my responsibility to train fellow employees on how to use the equipment for them to carry out several different ranging procedures. • Writing test procedures conforming to several British standards. • Report writing and testing equipment for clients such as the MOD.• Investigating diving sets that either have electrical or mechanical faults.
