Based in Bournemouth, part of a small team looking after the site infrastructure, this includes the on-site server and network hardware as well as the cloud infrastructure. My specific role had been to create an RBAC(Role Based Access Control) system to bring together Office 365, Azure-AD and on-site AD administration under one application. This has been achieved by leveraging powershell to create Application GUI’s to Administer the day to day functions of IT admin without having to resort to 4 different Admin consoles. These also provided the business with a defined structure for the creation of new users, the administration of movers and the processing of leavers under a single application, as well supporting the normal day to day administration of the general infrastructure.

Based in Penryn, looking after the first- and second-line team. Designing and implementing a new web-based service desk solution, stock control and purchase order system. Project lead, assigning resources and making sure clients were fully informed, key SLA’s were met and disruption to the client in any implementation was kept to a minimum. Mentoring Helpdesk/server staff, disseminating knowledge and best practice. Server support with design and migrations a speciality.

My role was to take clients from the design to full implementation.
