Global Category Development Officer: Retail | Qsr | Travel
Collaborate with Spotify Global and Regional Sales leaders as well as cross-functional partners to drive value, innovation and strategic insights to the sales efforts for these verticals and enable growth. Responsible for developing the vertical go-to-market narratives of Spotify’s broad solutions for clients and acting as the industry voice, providing thought leadership and high-touch client engagement.Responsibilities include:- Maximize revenue to the Retail, QSR & Travel verticals through products and services targeted specifically to vertical needs- Identify and report consumer trends analysis specific to the retail, QSR & Travel verticals- Structure and develop the vertical narratives in partnership with Strategic Marketing- Align with product marketing and measurement teams to build scalable productpackaging solutions that are specific to the needs of the verticals represented- Instrumental in the development of Spotify's network affiliate strategy in the retail media network landscape.- Advise on ad product innovation to maximize needed brand outcomes, including successful launches in 2022-23 that generated high client interest and investment- Strategic client engagement, providing thought leadership, engaging and deliverable solutionsto core client needs- Responsible for understanding global client needs and refine regional strategy across NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.- Support defined regional Spotify leadership teams, providing commercial support, strategicguidance and category leadership- Enable clients to maximize the business and brand-building potential of Spotify both on andoff platform- Collaborate with internal local and cross-functional teams to ensure knowledge transfer,product design and to improve the process and impact of our work with clients- The voice of Spotify at key client events and industry speaking engagements for retail, QSR & Travel verticals including Shop Talk, Grocery Shop, World Retail Congress & NRF Big Show
