About John Gregulak

I am an embedded software engineer with L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL. I currently hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.I have spent my career working in the real time, embedded avionics industry. I have experience with multiple Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), software debugging and safety critical applications. For the last few months, I have stepped into the Chief Software Engineering role for an F-35 Technology Refresh 3 program worth an estimated $200M. I work closely with the customer and several other software engineers that report directly to me. Together we are responsible for developing Open Mission Systems software that meets the customers expectations and beyond. Prior to this role, I worked as a digital mapping specialist supporting various cockpit modernizations including the latest version of the BlackHawk, the UH-60V. Our team developed a safety critical graphic application that was embedded in the aircraft's OFP that used OpenGL Embedded Systems or Safety Critical on mission critical processors. Our software was the most fielded digital map for the Military and is currently deployed on multiple aircraft including the UH-60V, CH-47F, H1 and HH-60W.
