Required education of leadership, cross department coordination, and policy building.Team Building: Built an informal network of professionals across multiple agencies in order to educate and meet requirements of EO 13434 and NDAA 2013 Sec 1107 without funding. Required coordination through Office of the Secretary of Transportation, FAA Assistant Administrator's Office of Security and HazMat, FAA Director of Sys Ops Security, US Army Interagency Chair CGSC, and local leadership team through FAA chain of command. Document produced identifies the challenges faced for a "unified whole of government approach" for non-DOD civilian agencies.
