I was born and raised in the antique furniture industry. Started working for the family furniture restoration business at the age of 13 learning all aspects of restoring antique furniture. Then started managing and running day-to-day operations at 19.The bulk of my work experience comes from my former employer General Finishes. I started at the bottom working on the production line making oil-based stains and topcoats to making water-based stains and topcoats. Then in 2007 transferred to the point of purchase department building retail store displays. Which included cutting a variety of materials using an assortment of woodworking equipment. Also staining and finishing with oil and water base products using Kremlin & Sata equipment. In 2013 I started managing the department which include a wide range of duties. Working with the sales staff on custom displays, building Trade show booths, Material source research, Ordering supplies, Project management, Inventory management, Managing 2+ employees, Equipment maintenance & repair.
