My mission: The kiln & dryer industry has gone through many changes in the past 20 years in regards to plant maintenance. In the next 5 to 10 years most maintenance departments will have gone through a transition of replacing nearly 90% of their maintenance staff and years of experience will have left their departments. In addition, downsizing of maintenance staffing has created an environment of fewer people with less experience working on older equipment. The need for maintenance training in all areas of the industry is one of the largest tasks we face in our respective industries. Passing on knowledge to perform better maintenance is of the highest importance to maintain a competitive advantage in a growing global economy.
