-Developed the first project based course in the curriculum-Revamped tutorial playlist training to create a storyline for learners to follow and create their own models. This set the example for other playlist revamps.-Revamped five of the fundamentals training courses to be offered in a Self-guided modality.

In my first position as a teacher of record, I taught Precalculus, AP Calculus, Project Lead The Way Intro to Engineering Design, and Material Science Engineering. My highlights are:• Secured and executed over $200k in grant funding from three sources to build engineering pathway• Managed the development of Engineering Pathway including facilitating efforts to develop articulation agreements with local community college, work-based learning experiences and certifications for students• Established advisory board of Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to guide direction of pathway.• Modeled a mastery learning and grading (MLG) approach to colleagues in a school professional development session as well as with the district’s MLG facilitator to guide MLG implementation throughout the district.• Utilized mastery learning and grading to guide students to take ownership of their own learning • Developed 5-year Linked Learning Implementation plan and led initiative at our school• Led a team of students in SIAM M3 Math Challenge (2020 & 2021)

Completed a M.Ed in Secondary Education as an IMPACT Fellow and obtained a Single-Subject Mathematics Teaching Credential Candidate. The IMPACT program was an accelerated M.Ed. program that utilizes and urban residency student teaching model. I spent my entire first year also student teaching at a bilingual community school where I taught Algebra 1 and Intro to Data Science.• Collected and analyzed student standards-based mastery data to guide classroom instruction• Implemented backwards planning with to lead instruction based on inquiry and sociocultural theory• Taught and differentiated classes containing a mixture of ELLs as well as students with IEPs

Worked on two separate projects building apartments and hotels.• Developed 3D CAD models of as-built construction with the aid of surveying measurements• Managed documentation that assisted project team in achieving highest safety audit score in district history

I graded homework and lab reports for two separate civil engineering classes: Materials of Construction and Principles of Soil Mechanics.

I presented in information sessions to prospective students and their families about the Swanson School of Engineering and provide them with a tour of the facilities. My role was to provide them with a positive vibe of the school such that they feel that it is the best university for them.

Participated in the MCSI Undergraduate Research Program (URP) where I conducted research in Engineering Education. Researched, designed and implemented a curriculum for high school students to teach engineering, sustainability and energy principles through project based learning. The research targeted key areas of the affective domain to develop the students' understanding of the principles.

My job was to effectively manage the budget while working to help drive the Regional and National directives. I had to manage a zone that consisted of three members other than myself all while working on a team of 20 individuals to plan and implement regional programming.

My first rotation I worked as a Project Engineer in Huntington, WV on a renovation of a seven-story government building. I worked mostly with document control. I worked heavily with excel and developed ways to track certain aspects of the project. One development was a way to track progress of a subcontractor who drives the schedule. Tracking the progress allowed for us to better schedule future phases of the construction.After my first rotation, I worked part time in the virtual construction department while I was taking classes. During my time in this department, I was trained to use DProfiler, Revit and Navisworks. While working with DProfiler, I worked with my supervisor to help improve our cost database to make it more user friendly.My second full rotation was in the buildings-estimating department. Here, I learned to use On-Center On-Screen Takeoff. My duties included performing takeoffs on upcoming projects and estimating the cost to perform the work based off historical data and the quote's of subcontractors that I communicated with throughout the project. The majority of my estimates were for divisions 6 through 10. I also developed a template that save the time of hand calculations when determining the quantities of materials associated with interior partitions (i.e. insulations, studs, tracks, etc).

I individually tutored high school students and freshman engineers in math and science courses.

I worked as a bridge inspector on a steel girder bridge as well as a pre-stressed concrete bridge on Interstate-80 Eastbound in Kylertown, PA. My duties included writing daily site activity reports, performing weekly erosion and sediment inspections and reports as well as indicate payments on a $10 million dollar design-build job. I also gained experience with concrete testing.
