Current- Leader of a group of 15. Mentored 6 postdoctoral fellows, 13 graduate students, and 26 undergraduate students. Published 80+ refereed journal articles (including 3 in Nature journals) and presented 70+ international.
- Led the Birth of a Galaxy paper series disseminating the first simulations that linked the first metal-free stars to the first generations of galaxies, providing a high-resolution view of their formation.
- Co-led the Renaissance Simulations project that followed over 3,000 “first galaxies” forming within a billion years after the Big Bang and produced mock observations for JWST.
- Awarded $11.1M in funding ($3.7M as PI) from NSF Astronomy & Astrophysics, NSF Advanced Cyber-Infrastructure, NSF MRI, NASA Astrophysics Theory, and the Hubble Theory programs.
