• Managed part and process maturation of responsible suppliers during new models including confirmation of supplier documents PQCT, FMEA, Operation Standards, part accuracy, and specification test results.• Developed countermeasures for problems that occurred during new model events and negotiated the countermeasures for resolution of the problems and concerns with suppliers, in-house departments, and R&D to insure a smooth New Model startup• Created and managed the Access database used for tracking new model part / process maturation for the New Model Section and worked with the outside contractor to integrate the Quality and Supplier development sections into one database• Marysville Motorcycle Plant Purchasing representative responsible for ensuring a smooth rollout of new software and technology used by Purchasing including CAD / Catia V5, Access 2003, Wireless access.

• Managed budget establishment, tracking, and other cost activity for the Auto Quality Business Team (300 associates ~ $60 million / year) including the expense, investment, and new model budgets using the Plan-Do-Check-Action activity cycle• Summarized, prepared, and presented the budget reports, overall budget plan, cost activities, and results, and other budget planning information to the General Manager for approval• Created the Specified Action Plan, initial method, and reports to account for the Cost of Quality in all areas of Honda of America MFG and presented to Plant Managers to improve Honda’s position relative to Quality Costs including breakdowns of labor, materials, and warranty costs relating to quality.• Controlled and managed the large capital expense for the business team including new equipment, building expansion, and office renovations• Acted as the liaison between Planning Department and individual Auto Quality departments for creation of Overseas Labor Agreement documentation and resolution of concerns with payment

• Led activity for interior section team for minivan development• Created quality development strategy for Seats and Seatbelt suppliers including specification, process, part / tool maturation of their plastic, stamping, foam, and welding processes.• Acted as both the Product Engineering and Parts Quality Contact for confirmation of supplier process, PQCT, FMEA, and part accuracy through confirmation of design, tooling, and testing methods• Assessed technical merit and tooling impact of Countermeasure requests for interior areas and Negotiated Countermeasures with R&D and supplier for resolution of concerns with design, manufacturing, and cost table differences.
