Social Architect
CurrentConsistent with the philosophy of Adult Education & Life-long learning, I negotiated an Adult Learning Contract (ALC) facilitated by Dr Dave Benson, Director, Malyon Traverse (traverse.org.au) and bridging to Malyon Workplace Centres (malyonworkplace.org.au). The ALC titled: PRAXIS; Social Architect provided a framework for strategic learning and development: How might I faithfully and effectively invest my energy as a "social architect" consultant, brining shalom to society? The underpinning ALC Cycle drew on Dr Benson's PhD Thesis (UQ) viz. 1. Descriptive Empirical: What is going on?; 2. Intepretive: Why is this going on?; 3. Normative: What ought to be going on?; 4. Correlative: Where is the common ground?; 5. Pragmatic: How might we respond? Consistent with action-reflection models, further iteration cycles continue. The ALC design proivided Suggestion actions and readings for each phase of the cycle, including four debriefing meetings for discussion, insights, questions, relections, and identifying further areas and resources for enquiry relating to the practice of a Social Architect, Consultant.
