Taxation. This involves over 30 years of experience in registration, account maintenance, assessing, audit, a focused tax investigation involving fraudulent tax refunds, business analysis, project management, ministerial initiatives (CGT / residence basis of taxation / tax exemptions), knowledge management, interpretation and rulings of various income tax provisions, but mostly focused on CIT matters, this also including drafting and or review of tax guides and interpretation notes, product owner for SMEs (dealing extensively with SBC and turnover tax matters), and currently dealing with tax administration legislative matters from an interpretive point of view, general assistance and legal opinions, etc. to both internal and external stakeholders. Also where necessary touch base on tax administration policy matters in relation to amendments of legislation.I have served on various committee's over the years, some later examples being:• Tax Debt Suspension Committee LBI;• Alternative member on various tiers of the National Appeals Committee, more so being on the higher level tiers;• Audit USP Committee; and • Tax Audit Committee.
