I work clinically as a physician assistant in the ICU and part time in the ER. It is my goal to provide the highest quality of patient care while strengthening the local medical community and promoting the development of gold standard practices in patient care and clinical training. My professional and clinical interests include: • Advanced procedures and management of critical patients• Coordination between EMS, specialists, primary care, and hospitalists, the ER team, and ICU team• Point of care ultrasonography in the evaluation of patients in the ER and ICU• Clinical/Skills instruction for nurses, providers, and students• Expanded roles, speciality training, and responsibilities for PAs and NPs working in the hospital• Administrative and operational management • Advancing local capabilities of managing critically ill patients
