• Day to Day management for NHS Property Services properties in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire maintaining the statue quo during Business Redesign• £6m maintenance project at Louth Hospital• £6.5m development at St Luke’s Hospital, Market Harborough• Active participation on the Horizon’s Board. Horizons are the organisation who manage the health community estate management contract with Interserve.• Support the Estates work stream within the Lincolnshire Sustainability Review project• Support the Estates work stream within the Leicestershire Better Care Together project.• Member of the NHS Property Services Regional Capital Review Group• Active member of the Midlands & East Regional Management Team• Development of Capital Programme for 2014/15• Supporting staff during Business Redesign• Supporting the disposal programme in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire• Supporting the national programmes developing NHS Property Services as a company eg data collecting

• Reporting directly to the Chief Executive of NHS Lincolnshire• Membership of the Trust’s Executive Team contributing to the Trust’s strategic and corporate planning• Membership of a number of working groups regarding the establishment of NHS Property Services Ltd including finance, equipment, lettings, policy etc. NHS Lincolnshire is a pilot for assisting in the data capture and evaluation of estates finance information held by PCTs• Responsible for the Estates & Facilities Transition Programme into NHS Property Services Ltd• Responsible for the transfer of Louth County Hospital project• Responsible for the implementation of the Trust’s Capital Programme• Merging of PCT and Shared Services Estates & Facilities teams.• Review/modernisation of Estates & Facilities services utilising best practice and external consultants where applicable• Responsible for the day to day management of the Department of Estates & Facilities• Responsible for developing and implementing the Trust’s Estates Strategy• Responsible for the department’s budget circa £16million• Lead for the Trust for Estates & Facilities risk management ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and attainment against best practice standards for Estates & Facilities• Maintaining robust communications with staff, trade unions, external agencies particularly those in the public sector within Lincolnshire

• Providing expert advice to the Trust for business case proposals for Strategic Investment especially in relation to PFI.• To be accountable for the successful development and delivery of all business cases on capital projects from either public or private sector sources.• Communicate with the media in relation to Strategic Investment issues.• Implement the Trusts long term Capital Planning Strategy.• Writing and implementing Trust policies related to Capital Planning.• Line Managing a single Department.• Manage local budgets for Project Advisors• Delivering an affordable and VFM solution for capital Projects.• Ensuring systems are in place to address risk (Financial and Non-Financial) issues during the Project Life Cycle highlighting risks at the earliest opportunity and taking action to mitigate any risks to the Trust.

• Working as a member of the Strategic Development team to ensure a consistent and positive approach to modernising services.• Responsible for the delivery of a number of clinical modernisation projects including those with Capital implications• Project Director for Johnson Community Hospital, Spalding PFI

Responsible for a wide range of Estates Functions including Energy Management, Capital, Hotel Services and General Services.

Responsible for Specialist Engineering schemes including Design, Procurement and Implementation i.e. Fire Alarms, CHP, Boiler Plant, Medical Gases, etc.
