Part 135, Single Pilot in Command: responsible for the safe operation in day, night and NVG EMS operations. Successfully completed over 200 patient critical care and trauma runs from both off airport scenes and inter-hospital locations. Maintained an outstanding team relationship with the customer, both in and outside the aircraft. Conducted daily crew flight briefings and ensured crew was current and if needed retrained in aircraft flight safety and NVG training. Assisted base lead, with daily base operational record keeping and conducted base safety audits. Instructed local EMS agencies in helicopter safety and LZ preparation. Additionally completed multiple CAMTS required, FEMA classes.

Responsible for guiding, training, and managing over 300 personnel in safety related topics. Responsible for directly supporting and executing the Troop Commander's Safety Program. Managed safety-related issues and monitored 12 Troop-level safety programs such as Troop Foreign Object Damage, Hazardous Material, Fire Marshall, Field Sanitation, Hearing Conservation, Personal Protective Equipment and Environmental Compliance. Conducted multiple safety inspection of both a hanger and motor pool. Coordinated fire training with airfield fire department in order to enhance aircraft firefighting procedures. Passed 2 major safety inspections with high marks, one inspection being from an OSHA inspector.

Executed duties as both Pilot in Command and Air Mission Commander under day, night and NVG conditions within the National Airspace Systems, Afghanistan and the Republic of Korea. Conducted multiple multi-national and multi-service flight operations within Afghanistan as well as South Korea. Developed and coordinated Air to Ground training with local units in order to achieve and maintain a high state of readiness for possible combat operations. Conducted over 500 combat missions in one of the most volatile regions of Afghanistan, receiving an Air Medal with “V” device, three Air Medals, and two Army Commendation Medals with “V” devices, three Army Commendation Medals for service and achievement in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Attended the Army’s High Altitude Mountain Environmental Training Course in preparation for deployment and operations in the high mountains of eastern Afghanistan. Provided academic and tactical mentorship to junior aviators, preparing them to become Pilots-In-Command during numerous tactical flights, cross country flights, and Squadron High Altitude Training. Led Air-Mission Briefings and Air-Ground-Integration classes for audiences of over 80 people at a time.
