This included the implementation of an AUS$305m tier 1 framework contract utilising a novel incentivised target cost mechanism to promote collaboration and alignment of objectives.• The program involved the negotiation of 34 separate grid connection agreements within a timescale never achieved within South Australia. This required the bringing together of key stakeholder and industry expertise early in the connection process and agreeing innovative approaches to the connection and registration process. -

The project scope included sludge dewatering, incineration, gas cleaning, power generation, effluent treatment of centrate and scrubber waste and all associated utilities.• Established a multidisciplinary design office comprising over 60 individuals within a 4 week period, bring together the required skills through a combination of direct recruitment, agency recruitment and subcontract design resources.• Developed and implemented an successful strategy to overcome company, professional and cultural barriers to build a high performing and fully integrated design team.• Established a comprehensive design plan incorporating innovative design tools and methods to ensure minimal risk of rework, which included the use of 3D design and intelligent P&ID’s, that became the reference for Veolia UK’s own in house capability. -
