Business Executive in Medical Devices – Marketing, Training, Technical SupportAs a Business Executive in Medical Devices, I have a foot in two worlds. On the one hand, I am deeply knowledgeable about the business models and processes necessary to create, market and distribute effective devices on a global scale. I have more than three decades of sustained success in guiding the growth of products for major players to tell me that I’m good at this. But on the other hand, none of that matters to me unless one key criteria is met: I want to work with devices that change the paradigm for patient experience.In pursuit of this goal, I have come on board at both established (Medtronic and St. Jude Medical) and emerging (BioVascular –now Synovis and Sulzer Spine-Tech, Scanlan International) biotech firms. To be honest, the size of the organization doesn’t matter to me so much as the vision and span of the group I’m with. I want to continue driving growth on a global basis for products or processes that bring medical treatment to a new level.My strengths for this work include training, presenting and developing publications for every part of the product marketing process, from sales to clinical trials to surgical implant of the device. I am especially adept at building relationships with key opinion leaders and working directly with surgeons and others in the customer chain, and I am respected for my straight-forward, results-oriented team management and business development strategies.I intend to keep growing in my expertise and professional relationships across the globe as the biomedical device industry continues to grow into its full potential.
