The TRACK program at General Motors is a 2 year, 4 rotation program giving college graduates cross functional work experience across the supply chain. Upon exiting the program, members are placed into a full time role in the Global Purchasing and Supply Chain Organization within GM. Worked within a team of 10 operators to pick, confirm, move, and stage orders for all production departments within Pfizer's Drug Product Manufacturing facility in Kalamazoo, MI. The job is fast-paced with orders being picked every few minutes and being delivered to production. We also have to account for the hierarchy of products to give priority to cold room and controlled substance materials. Moved these priority materials to production JIT to keep the line running minimizing downtime.Key responsibilities:● Troubleshooting inventory inaccuracies in SAP and working with the logistics technician to root cause.● Moving raw materials, work in process, hazardous waste, and finished goods using a forklift. ● Make inventory transactions bin to bin, bin to production yield, and production yield to bin using SAP● Perform routine cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with SAP records.● Handle controlled substances following strict company SOPs to ensure compliance.

Prepped production materials going into the aseptic facility. Cleaned the aseptic facility following all company SOPs to ensure compliance with the FDA and other regulatory agencies. Key Responsibilities: ● Staged bulk materials necessary to manufacture Sterile Injectables using a forklift. ● Altered bulk inventory daily using a Kanban system to align with a rapidly changing filling schedule. ● Ordered and stocked over $100,000 of Aseptic Supplies on a weekly basis from the company stockroom.

Contracted job through Manpower that consisted of picking up samples from 16 different Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) production buildings and delivering them to the Rapid Turn Lab (RTL). Created a sample delivery tracking tool in excel to monitor inventory for future reference. Managed worksheets from all members of the staff and filed them weekly for record retention.Key responsibilities:● Transported samples from the 16 API production buildings to the Rapid Turn Lab and other Labs.● Logged samples into LIMS and filed laboratory worksheets in appropriate areas● Effectively altered scheduled rounds to accommodate a tight production schedule.● Worked on special projects from the Team Leader to improve the efficiency of the production process and accelerate skill development.

Purchasing Intern in steering, chassis, and structures.

Purchased MRO materials for 90 light products and asphalt terminals in the Eastern United States. Completed 4 analytics projects looking at past sourcing decisions to compare supplier performance on cost, project timelines, estimates, and changes orders. Used Microsoft Power BI to create insights from historical data, and created dashboards that allowed business partners to make informed sourcing decisions. Facilitated a bid in Ariba using full project and built in line items that resulted in a $72,000 cost savings.
