 Identification of scope requirements for tender packages and implementing appropriate and effective tender strategy Supplier/Contractor selection Tender management and review Technical liaison with the engineering department to establish technical compliance to FMG Standards Commercial clarification and negotiation at tender of departures to FMG’s preferred risk allocation. Conformation of negotiated contracts and Supplier/Contractor Appointment Administration of established contracts to the agreed terms and conditions through to successful completion Management of milestone payments and contractor invoices  Contract cost reconciliation and maintaining budgetary overview of owned contracts. Efficient contractual dispute management Issuing variation directions and deeds of amendment as required. Ensuring Quality Assurance of all supplied Items through the timely appointment and co-ordination of QA/QC for all package and FAT tests. Frequent liason with suppliers site based contractors and consistent review and administration of field services invoicing. Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of all packages in accordance with the accorded Incoterms and constant liaising with the logistics department.

. Ship Shape Construction is a highly successful London Contractor focusing primarily on the high end residential property market, with current residential contracts ranging between £600k to £3m. Duties in this role include; •Reporting cost positions of contracts directly to the Head of Construction and Financial Director.•Responsible for the timely and profitable management and delivery of multiple construction contracts simultaneously.•Effective management of site managers and senior site personnel.•Control of contracts through consistent cost reporting and co-ordination, payment and management of Sub-Contract trades and labour and the timely and profitable co-ordination and appointment of suppliers in accordance with contract budget and construction programme. •Co-ordination of site meetings with Contract Administrators, Architects and Clients.•Invoice payments and tracking, maintaining cash-flow positivity throughout all contracts. •Protect contract margins through timely calculation and reporting of variations to contracts, and generating and issuing regular job specific reporting to all stakeholders. •Ensuring the overall delivery of the contract within budget and time constraints.•Obtaining contract margin increase through effective buying gains and negotiated Sub-Contractor discounts.•Timely and accurate tendering for large High End residential construction contracts throughout the Greater London area. •Targeting contracts generally in the £750k to £2m range.•Accurate, thorough and efficient material quantifying and rates and labour costing throughout all facets of build works including though not exclusively; temporary works, basement excavation, underpinning, piling works through to entire build and final fix works.•Efficient identification and invitation of all required Sub Contractors and specialist fittings and fixtures. •Timely and professional delivery of all tenders.•Contract Familiarisation and appropriate preliminary costing
