He graduated with a Philosophy degree from Austin College in Sherman Texas and then spent the next 2 years studying at the Free University in Berlin (in former West Germany) and is fluent in German.Mr. Heimsath has been in the forwarding/logistics industry in Houston since 1988 and has had the opportunity to witness the advent of automation into this industry. Mr. Heimsath has participated in many logistics reviews of large companies with complex requirements spanning geographies, business units and shipping modes. Prior to founding ACM Logistics & Consulting, Inc. in 2001, Mr. Heimsath held increasingly senior positions with a large global logistics company and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, South and Central America, and Asia.Mr. Heimsath is currently using his broad expertise in the logistics industry to provide knowledge-based solutions to companies throughout the area.
