In an effort to elevate academic performance, I restructured the 7-12 English curriculum to align with the school's objective of increasing SAT scores to 1200/1600 surpassing this goal in less than two years with strategic planning and implementation.A significant achievement was transforming the AP English Literature and Composition course which had struggled with a passing rate below 30% for more than a decade. The new curriculum resulted in a 100% passing rate within one year, a milestone that continued throughout my tenure.I also established a vibrant Drama Department. In its inaugural year, we produced two successful dinner theatre productions and oversaw the $1 million renovation of a state-of-the-art theatre which enriched the cultural landscape of the school and contributed to a thriving arts community.As a dedicated member of the Scholarship Committee, I contributed to the recognition of academic achievement by awarding college scholarships and local honors to deserving students over a four-year period.
