JIE Technical Team Lead to support the MDA IT Services Architecture & Engineering section. Responsible for providing day-to-day team leadership, technical guidance, and customer reporting for a dispersed team of IT System and Network Design engineers, site integrators, project planners, schedulers, and other parties supporting the MDA IT Services Architecture & Engineering Remote Site Security initiative. Reports to and work closely with the Architecture & Engineering (A&E) Site Operations Manager (SOM) to facilitate all integration efforts pertaining to the Joint Information Environment. Works in close coordination with organizational leadership, project managers, and other service area representatives to coordinate team design efforts, site scheduling, implementation efforts, and associated data collection. Serves as a project expert and provides technical contribution to facilitate project completion. Mentors engineering team members, review documentation to ensuring engineering quality, and maintain responsibility for projects and tasks assigned to the team.

Plan, execute, and evaluate leadership and skills training of Saudi Facilities Security Forces (FSF) in the protection of critical infrastructure within the Kingdom. Manage the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Cooperation programs, worth over 30 million dollars. Work with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) and Saudi Ministry of Interior (MOI) on managing and tracking existing programs and creating new training cases. Advises Saudi counterparts on all aspects of training and training management of the FSF, conducts training assessments, and identifies potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) opportunities regarding critical infrastructure protection, with primary oversight of an English Language Training Program, Leadership Training Program, and CONUS Schools Program. I synchronize, develop and provide a shared understanding of significant events and actions across the Training Division that impact mission execution and operational readiness. Oversees three remote locations, two in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and one CONUS. Responsible for critical inputs for strategic and operational reports to CENTCOM and DOS, and enables situational awareness regarding training.

Project manager for nine clients of IBM's Federal Data Center. Created and validated metrics and financials as well as preparing labor, system and revenue forecasts. Main point of contact for all change management, system issues, and Service Level Agreement issues. Projects encompassed 78 systems and $2.1 million in revenue.

Served as an analyst on the Commander’s International Security Assistance Force (COMISAF) Red Team providing independent, strategic-level alternative policies, strategies, and operations assessments. Supervised, planned, conducted, and authored alternative analyses that defined the operational environment from multiple perspectives — including regional adversaries, Coalition partners, and allies — in order to identify critical vulnerabilities and opportunities. Participated in multinational policy forums to directly support NATO and Coalition senior civilian and military leaders’ decision making. Served as an advisor to ISAF CJ2 on Southwest Asia political-military issues affecting U.S. national security policies and strategies. Led strategic strategy roundtable discussions with Afghan, Pakistani, and Coalition officials. Conducted battlefield research in support of the COMISAF Red Team research.

System administration, integration and application development. Part of a very diverse support group who's responsibilities span multiple projects and geographic locations. Worked on AIX and Linux systems on IBM's Power series and blade servers. Performed system installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and final integration. Engineered and maintained security configuration of the customers systems and to insure all IA requirements were met. Responsible for all aspects of managing the maintenance releases, problem management, and code life cycle, including, but not limited to, scheduling, requirements gathering, problem determination, quality assurance, change management, testing and installation coordination.

On-site project manager and system engineer for the creation of a decision support system. Analyzed the hardware and software requirements in order to design and implement system solutions. Authored engineering documentation for the project in accordance with DoD standards. Primary contact for all hardware and software used on the project, regularly updating the CIO on the project design and status. Led all engineering reviews on the project as well as involved in the information assurance and project management operations. Tracked resources for all interface and information assurance operations and created earned value management reports. Oversaw $1.3 million budget for hardware and software, and saved the project $300,000 by re-engineering the system to maximize utilization.

Primary onsite support for all IBM products, both hardware and software, and was responsible for administration and integration of IBM systems into the customer’s network. Project's AIX and Linux subject matter expert and worked with both IBM's Power series and blade servers, responsible for system installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and final integration. Key interface with the testing group to ensure that all IBM systems are operating correcting and assisted the testing group with system setup and troubleshooting and was responsible for the security configuration of the customers systems and to insure all IA requirements were met.

Served as a Space Operations Officer and leader of an Army Space Support Team. As the subject matter expert on space based systems and missile warning I advised commanders and staff on status and capabilities of space systems and integrated information from theater missile warning units. During my two deployments to Iraq, I ran Space Operations, was in command of Tier 1 missile warning for the theater, assisted in Special Technical Operations (STO) and was POC for TENCAP programs in country. Coordinated Army Space missions with that of the Air Force capabilities and interfaced with Air Force counterparts in theater and with the Joint Space Operations Center.
