• To build, provision and maintain outside plant facilities including aerial, underground, buried copper and fiber cable facilities.• Install, diagnose, and maintain copper and fiber cabling and associated components including digital loop carrier systems.• Installation and maintenance of cable pressure systems.• Erect, maintain, install and repair poles and cables.• Perform cable acceptance functions as required.• Provide and update details on the work completed.• Provide contract inspection and administrative information for control of external contractors.• Monitor, inspect and complete reports on work performed by contractors.• Liaise with external crews and companies to facilitate work plans.• Read and interpret blueprints.
