I'm a screenwriter based in North Shields. I've written for a number of TV series including EastEnders, The Dumping Ground and the BAFTA nominated Silverpoint, and I'm currently developing several film and TV projects, including work with Company Pictures and Shudder Films. I have been selected for several high profile mentoring schemes including programmes with Guiding Lights and BAFTA, as well as the BBC Writersroom Comedy Room. My TV script, The Things, was a winner of the BAFTA Rocliffe writing competition.I'm also the founder and Creative Director at Ultra Rare, a digital collectibles and games company based in the UK. During this time I have created and overseen multiple IP, including the highly successful Horrors series, as well as creating digital collectibles for iconic horror franchise, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.Formerly a social worker, I have an MA in Creative Writing as well as a PhD, with a focus on the media depiction of looked-after children.
