I was one of three core members of a team implementing the replacement of SAP/APO and a Cirrus Logic proprietary IBP tool with SAP IBP for all supply chain planning functions. As the subject matter expert for Cirrus Logic products and supply chain processes, I gathered user requirements, performed initial testing and coordinated user testing, had sole sign-off authority for all configuration, and I continue to support users post go-live.Previously, I was a key participant in the implementation of SAP/APO, with a focus on the supply network planning (SNP) module. I had significant and primary involvement through the entire project from requirements review to final testing. Following implementation, I have been responsible for sustaining the master data, executing the planning runs, and troubleshooting system errors since July 2012.Extensive experience as a decision maker and analyst for numerous supply chain projects and activities, including supplier lead-time forecasting, supply capacity analysis, inventory analysis and optimization, safety stock determination, vendor management and scorecards, and wafer start analysis.In 2018 I identified a need and independently created an IBP tool for products not involved in SAP/APO planning, replacing a confusing and inefficient scramble of Excel files. My efforts resulted in a strong and innovative process to manage capacity bottlenecks, plan NPI products, and create a central data location from which to generate reports. This stand-alone software solution utilized Microsoft Excel, MS Power Query, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to generate the planning areas and reports.
