I am a passionate advocate of ensuring that clinical services and both safe and effective. I have a track record of delivering significant change at scale and take pride in delivering on time to the standards agreed. I never over commit or under deliver. My approach is inclusive to ensure all relevant parties understand the journey whilst, where necessary, being assertive in order to keep a project on track. I have excellent people skills and use these effectively in getting the job done.Latterly I have had opportunities to improve patient safety. It is not rhetoric when I say that in making any change (or indeed delivering high quality in existing services) patients have to be at the centre of everything we do. Achievements include* GP of the year* Winner HSJ award for primary care innovation* Winner Primary Care organisation of the year award* Set up and ran one of the few GP practice based endoscopy services in the country* Set up and ran one of the first GP out of hours co-operatives in the country and project director for the integration of three out of hours providers into one.* Helped set up and run Hospital@Home, an award winning service to treat patients in their own home as an alternative to hospital admission.
