My current position as a Solutions Architect is to work with the customers and account managers to create high-level designs that incorporate all the required needs. This includes an accurate bill of materials and statement of work that incorporate all aspects of the project.As a systems engineer, my job was primarily installing, upgrading and supporting VoIP telephone systems. I have expertise in Cisco's Telepresence portfolio, including Expressway Core/Edge, Conductor/vTPS, and Cisco Meeting Server (formally Acano). I also have broad background deploying both wired and wireless networks. As Regional Lead Engineer, my responsibilities include project oversight and support other engineers and customers with technical issues.Over time I have gained extensive experience with Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, Windows server and desktop operating systems.Previous job responsibilities including K-12 project management, IT budgeting, long-term planning, and integration of technology in an educational environment. Supervision of other technicians and escalated support for end-users were daily duties.My ability to "think outside the box" and my strong problem solving skills were often utilized by administration for non-IT related projects and problems.
