Over 25 years of Technical Desktop Support experience specializing in desktop and tower configuration PC’s and laptops with their docking accessories. Experiance also includes printers, plotters, scanners, label makers, and other types of specialized peripherals. I have also worked attaching and configuring computer interfaced laboratory equipment such as electron microscopes. Software experience includes Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Business, Windows 7 Home Premium, Microsoft Office products including Outlook, and Blackberry Desktop Software, as well as specialized office, medical, and remote security applications. I have experience working with Active Directory configuring, deactivating, and moving exchange accounts. I also have experience in remote assistance and software deployment using Altiris. While working for the Cardiology Department at The Methodist Hospital, I implemented the use of preconfigured hot swap computers for use in the cardiovascular surgical suite to minimize down time if a machine should fail during surgery. These machines were preconfigured for the nursing and anesthesia stations, and could be replaced by removing the failing machine, replaceing it with the new one and powering on. The replacement could be performed by any member of the staff, and took less than ten minutes. Training in psychology gives me a unique insight in to the needs of my customers so that I can more effectively serve them. The confidence and cooperation of your customers is the most important tool you have to get the job done.Specialties: A+ Certified
